The Barboursville International Recreational Dance(BIRD) Project

 is in it's forth season producing the program "Another Day, Another Dance" for Charlottesville Public Acces TV. (CPATV-13) and we would like your help!

We are also interested in pictures of food and scenery from foreign countries that you have taken.

Romani and Romanian dances start the New Year

The New Year begins with Lindy teaching Mahala Mori Shej.  This is a Transylvania/Hungarin Roma dance introduced by Steve Kotansky.

I didn't find a video of the dance, but there are some interesting pictures in the above video.  I always wonder about the stories the people would tell.
